Announcing Post-It Portraits with Sam Hester

Every member of our Community of Do Gooders, Inside Out’s monthly giving program, can have their very own Post-It Portrait drawn by Calgary artist Sam Hester. We are built by community, and now the smiling faces of our supporters can brighten our space every day!

About The Community of Do Gooders:

Each Do Gooder gives Inside Out a small monthly donation, that when combined fuels every corner of our work. Some join because they’re fans of our shows and love the vibrancy of Deaf, Disabled, and Mad culture, others want to support our community classes and offer the sense of belonging to more Calgarians who need it, and still some Do Gooders are appreciators of The Good Host and our work in making Calgary culture accessible. A select few remain a mystery.

To celebrate our new home in The Beltline and to share our appreciation for our community we’re partnering with Sam Hester to commission Post-It Portraits of all of our Do Gooders!

What’s a Post-It Portrait?

Our Post-It Portraits will be hand drawn by Calgary illustrator Sam Hester as playful and simple portraits on a colourful square background. Just like the Do Gooders, each portrait is pretty cool on its own and when combined with the others becomes something transformative!

How Does This All Work?

Oh friends, it’s so simple, just:

  1. Email Col Cseke or visit www.insideouttheatre.com to join The Community of Do Gooders by committing to give a monthly donation*.

*There are no minimum donations and no tiered rewards based on how much you give! Why? We believe that being able to support charities you care about (like Inside Out) feels good and meaningful to do, and that generous act should be available to everybody.

  2. Please give an amount that feels good to you.

  3. Pretty soon after you’ll receive an email from us with details on how to share a photo of yourself to be portrait-zed!

  4. Once it’s ready you’ll receive a digital copy and we’ll add you to our Post-It Portrait Gallery Wall at the new Erratics Indie Arts Club!

Go ahead, do some good.
